Karthik and Vaibhav come together for a new genre

One of the most charming actors, Tamil Cinema has ever seen and a leading hero of the 1990s Karthik started of the year 2015 playing a smart and suave villain against Dhanush in the K.V. Anand directed ‘Anegan’. Now the veteran actor has taken up an important role in ‘Jindhaa’ which has been launched today with a formal pooja.

‘Jindhaa’ produced by SAF Raja of SAF Cine Mass and directed by S.K. Vetri Selvan will have Vaibhav and Sushma Raj of ‘India Pakistan’ fame in lead roles while Karthik will be donning a pivotal role.


Speaking about his debut film, Selvan, a former assistant to director Vasanth, said “This film is of a new genre 'Dark gangster comedy'.  It is a energy oriented script and even as i was writing this script Karthik sir and Vaibhav sat into that. I'm sure they will bring life and energy to my characters who are lively.  My producer S A F Raja happens to be my child hood friend and i thank him for providing me the platform to show case my potentiality.”

The film will have music score rendered by Hasaar Kasif, the nephew of ‘Isaipuyal’ A.R. Rahman and K.Dinesh has been entrusted with cinematography. K.M.Riaz Mohammed will take care of Editing.
